WHO ARE WE?
Improve photography is the training department of Adam Hillier Photography.
Enjoying photography training from Adam Hillier Photography means you're taught by active professional photographers - not just a classroom teacher or lecturer.
Our background
Adam Hillier Photography was established in in 2007. Since we started, we have grown into a leading commercial, portrait & wedding photography business that now serves clients around the world.
Our Training Ethos
We love photography & consider ourselves very fortunate to have careers doing something we love. This passion & enthusiasm inspired us to start our training courses, inspiring & helping others. We want you enjoying photography & that comes from being at one with your equipment & being confident in your knowledge.

What do we use?
We train people with all different camera systems, makes and models. But our “students” are often very interested in what we use….. so here goes…
Cameras
We are Canon shooters. We started with Nikon, had a brief spell with Sony but quickly came back to canon.
Our kit bags feature two Canon R5 and one Canon R6 bodies, we have a range of zoom lenses and 35mm, 85mm, 100mm prime lenses
Lighting
As you can imagine we have lots of lighting, each for varying situations. On Camera flash we use Godox, studio lighting we use Profoto and for video work we use Aputure lights
Retouching
Retouching / Editing has always been and always will be a vital part of photography. Getting it right in camera works to a certain point, but the polish comes in post production. We use Capture Pro and Photoshop for all of our photography post work
